Any school, PTA, youth sports team, nonprofit, civic organization, club, or community group can register. If you have a community of supporters who live and shop locally, you qualify. Registration is free and takes about 5 minutes.
It depends on how many community members participate and how often they shop at participating businesses. There is no cap on earnings. The more people in your network who select your cause and shop locally through LocalVIP, the more your organization earns. Results vary by organization size and community engagement. LocalVIP does not guarantee specific earnings amounts.
Your only job after setup is to share your unique link with your community once. After that, the system runs automatically. Every time a community member shops at a participating local business and has your organization selected as their cause, a portion flows to you. No events, no selling, no collecting money, no reminders to send.
Donations accumulate in your organization's LocalVIP account as qualifying purchases happen. You can withdraw funds once you reach the minimum balance threshold. There are no monthly fees or percentage deductions from your organization's share. We'll walk you through the payout setup when you register.
